We will all spend eternity somewhere.  Where will you spend it?  Sometimes people tell themself that they have plenty of time.  Some people even mistakingly believe they will no longer have fun once they have accepted Christ as Savior.  Some say, I have places to go and too much life to live to do that.  It is only when we accept Christ as Savior that we can begin to live.  In life we are either drawing closer to God or moving further away.  Which way are you going?  Have you taken a wrong turn in life and need to get on the right path?  God wants to help you.  Proverbs 3:5 and 6 states "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not to thine own understading.  In all they ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."  Call on Him and He will direct your path to Him and to Heaven.
The Bible says......."These things I have written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that ye have eternal life,...." (I John 5:13)  God wants us all to know that we are going to Heaven  and we must do it God's way.
 -   "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)  Because of our sin we are under the penalty for sin.  "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23)  This penalty means eternal separation from God in an eternal Hell.
 - "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)  God does not want anyone to go to Hell, so He sent His only begotten son to die and pay the penalty for our sins.
 - "....the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)  God's love is so great that He made a way for our sins to be forgiven.  He offers His forgiveness and salvation freely.  God offers Heaven as a Gift, purchased with His blood on the cross.
 - "That if though shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)  Like all gifts, the gift of salvation is not yours until you receive it.  You must believe in your heart and call on the Lord to save you.
- "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)  The "whosoever" in this verse is you.  Will you pray, right now, and ask God to save you from your sin?   You may be thinking, " I don't know how to pray."  In Luke 18:13 the sinner prayed "God be merciful to me a sinner."   Below is a prayer to help or guide you.  The prayer does not save you, only faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ can do that.
"God, I know I am a sinner.  I believe Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment for my sin. I believe He arose again on the third day.  God, I am sorry for my sins and ask forgiveness.  I want to now receive Jesus as my Savior.  Thank you for the gift of salvation.  Amen."
If you you have just done this, please let us know so that we may pray for your continued growth in the Lord.
